Stone Mills old farm and home days was held on August 20, 21 and 22 on the grounds of the
Northern New York Agricultural Historical Society Museum at Stone Mills NY.
Included in the weekends festivities were tractor pulls, demonstrations of weaving and spinning, static tractor displays and an antique theme flea market.
Bread making, corn grinding and butter making demonstrations are presented through out the weekend.
One of highlight of the festival is an 15 mile antique tractor caravan.
Antique gas engine demonstrations and oxen pulling give visitors a feel for what it was like to live at the turn of the 20th century.

Hit n miss gas engines were indispensible for powering equipment around the farm.

Old time roto-tillers, and tractor rides in the background.

Here is a row of tractors, just as ready for work today as when they were build.
